I will hold you in my heart until we meet again on the other side
And God asked the feline spirt "Are you ready to come home?"
"Oh, yes quite so", replied the precious soul.
"And as a cat, you know I am most able to decide anything for myself".
"Are you coming then?" asked God
"Soon", replied the wiskered angel, "but I must come slowely.
My human friends are troubled you see, they need me, quite certainly."
"But don't they understand?" asked God, "That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are interwined for all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed? It just is...forever and ever and ever."
"Eventually they will understand" , replied the glorious cat,
"For I will whisper into their hearts that I am always with them,
I just am...for ever and ever and ever"
A Tribute to Miss Daisy ( F1 Savannah Queen)
June 18th, 2006 - April 9th, 2010
Our F1 girl, Miss Daisy was my very best girl and my very dear friend to me she was suddenly taken from us way to soon, shortly after giving birth to four beautiful newborn kittens. Daisy had some birth complications that ended up taking her life so young and so not expected.
I made a promise to her, after her sudden departure from this world, that I would raise the four beautiful gifts she left me with and look after them the very best way I could, and that is just what I am doing..
I miss her greatly, as she was a very special girl, and the very best mother to her kittens that I have ever known.
Daisy was the sweetest F1 Savannah Cat I have ever met! She was such a doll!
She loved her babies and always invited me to hold them and take every chance to show them off to me. I had an very tight bond with Miss Daisy, I was her entire world and her "special" person, and she was mine..I cannot believe she is gone, I will forever have a hole in my heart without her.
I love you forever Daisy, and I will never ever forget you...you were a blessing to me, and I feel so privileged to have shared my life with you.
I promise your kittens will go on to hold your legacy, and you hold a very special place in the savannah world- with that awesome pink nose of yours and amazing temperament! I will miss that sweet voice you had always talking back to me and purring just by you seeing me from a far.
A special thank-you to Grace from Bundas Cattery, for raising such a perfect cat in every way and allowing me to raise her up and have such a wonderful F1 savannah.
Daisy was the "best of the best"- everything a cat should be, although she was more like a little person in furry clothing to me, than a cat!
Although taken way too soon from my world, I bet you are chasing butterflies and basking in the sun.. and I will look forward to seeing you again one sweet day...My Daisy Doodle.. hugs and kisses...You now live not only in my heart, but through your little babies, whom I just adore!
UPDATE ON DAISY'S KITTENS
ALL Daisy's kittens all made it, I bottle raised each one and the three girls Faith, Hope and Charity all stayed here with me, they are my most precious reminders of sweet Daisy.
Thank-you Daisy for helping me raise them in spirit I know you were by our side the entire time!
